Lauryn Hill's Bluesy Cover Of Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good' Will Give You Life

Lauryn certainly does the song justice.

Lauryn Hill has unveiled a special cover of Nina Simone's powerful 1965 song 'Feeling Good.'

The song comes as a part of RCA's upcoming Nina Simone tribute album 'Nina Revisted: A tribute To Nina Simone,' for which Lauryn has in total recorded seven songs for, including 'Wind Is The Wind' and 'I've Got Life.'

"Because I fed on this music, both hers and lovers like her, like my basic food, I believed I always had a right to have a voice," Lauryn said of the recordings. "Her example is clearly a form of sustenance to a generation needing to find theirs. What a gift."

Other artists contributing to the album include Mary J Blige, Usher, Common and Gregory Porter.
