Halle Bailey has accused her baby daddy DDG of abuse and filed for a restraining order - here is everything we know about the claims so far.

Halle Bailey, the star of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, has accused her ex-partner and father to her child, DDG, of abuse and has had a restraining order put in place.
The couple were originally together for over three years, and have a son together, Halo, 1.

DDG, whose real name is Darryl Granberry Jr, has publicly complained about his struggles with their co-parenting agreement, previously accusing Halle of not letting him see their son.
The streamer was live on a stream when the news broke, which you can see below, but is yet to release a statement.
Why has Halle Bailey got a restraining order against DDG?
The ‘Do It’ singer has detailed four separate encounters in which the rapper allegedly acted in either a physical or controlling manner, and claims she feared for both her and her child’s safety.
According to the statement, in a document obtained by TMZ, Halle claimed to have had enough of the alleged abuse that she claims began to first get physical back in January 2025.
What has Halle Bailey accused DDG of?
The document submitted by Halle alleges physical altercations, supported by photos depicting a chipped tooth and bruises.
There are also alleged instances of DDG trespassing and harassing the actress.
The domestic violence restraining order has been granted by the court, which requires the rapper to stay at least 100 yards away from Halle allowing the Disney star to take the child with her on an upcoming movie-shoot in Italy for 2 months.
This now means the streamer is unable to talk about the mother of his child or his son on any of his frequent streams.
When did Halle Bailey & DDG split?
The couple have been separated since last October 2024, calling it quits after three years together.
They never detailed the exact reasons for the split at the time, but DDG released a statement shortly after the break to his Instagram story, claiming his love for Halle “remains deep and true”.
The younger sister of Chloe Bailey claims in the document submitted to the courts this week that they broke up because of his “temper and lack of respect towards me”.
