Fergie has sent her fans a heartfelt message.
Fergie has officially responded after her rendition of the US national anthem went viral for all the wrong reasons yesterday.
The former Black Eyed Peas member, who sang at the NBA All-Star basketball game this weekend, has issued an apology to her fans.
"I've always been honoured and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA,” she told TMZ.
“I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best."
Fergie received a backlash after she appeared to put her own spin on the famous anthem.
Fans and celebrities in the stands appeared to be holding back laughter in the stadium, which led to some hilarious tweets.

Meanwhile, Will.i.am has confirmed that Fergie has officially left the Black Eyed Peas.
The Voice UK coach broke the news during an interview with the Daily Star and hinted that the band may be lining up former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Sherzinger to replace Fergie.
