Drake returned ‘home’ this Wireless weekend, bringing out some iconic stars in true Drizzy fashion, with Central Cee, Sexxy Red, and Headie One taking to the festival’s main stage - but his known rival Kendrick Lamar also seemed to get a shoutout.

As well as rocking the crowd with his endless discography of hits, he also played some new tracks for his fans, including teasing a new collaboration with Cench as well as performing his latest drop ‘What Did I Miss?’.

The new track brings his viral beef with Kendrick Lamar this past year to the forefront, which saw the ‘Alright’ rapper taking to the Super Bowl stage to perform his diss-track ‘Not Like Us’.

This was Drake’s first public performance of the diss-track, after a year of the L.A rapper going on his ‘victory lap’, it was finally time for Drake to get his lick back with a crowd of 50,000 fans celebrating the 6 God.

On the second night of his performance, which saw BBK also take the stage, Drake took a moment to acknowledge his success, and the crowd responded in a unique way.

He said: “Three nights headlining, three different sets, three different vibes. Name another artist that can do that and bring him up here, and we can clash right now.”

Fans responded by shouting: “F**k Kendrick!”

Drizzy even took his earpieces out to hear the noise with his own ears, responding by asking for a shot, saying, “I’ll drink to that.”

The 6 God continued: “Y'all thought y'all could knock The Boy off for real?”T

he sounds of his chart-topping hit ‘Nokia’ then blasted out across the park, fans going crazy.

In a somewhat humble way, the rapper seemed to prove the haters wrong in a very candid moment about how much this performance meant to him after a drama-filled year.

The moment has become iconic, this weekend taking, not just the country, but the whole world by storm, fans everywhere wishing they were there to see the history-making performance.
