Cardi B has made history by becoming the first solo female to have a rap song reach number one on the Billboard 100 since Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo Wop’ in 1998.
The New York rapper finally topped the charts with her infectious hit ‘Bodak Yellow’, overtaking Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ in the process.
Following amazing record-breaking achievement, she couldn’t help but throw shade at Taylor Swift while celebrating the moment.
Cardi recorded the exact moment she found out the news and celebrated by singing Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do' and twerking.
Interestingly, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj fans were reportedly teaming up in an attempt to stop Cardi B reaching number one last week.
Meanwhile, the Hip-Hop world have reacted to the record-breaking news by showing their appreciation on Twitter.
