Burna Boy has released his newest album ‘No Sign of Weakness’, in which he seems to have reignited his notorious beef with other Afrobeats star Davido on the album’s self-titled track.

Burna Boy has just released his newest album ‘No Sign of Weakness’, ahead of his main stage performance at Wireless 2025, alongside Drake, but in the second track on the album, under the same name, he seems to take shots at Davido.

Released on the 11th July, Burna’s latest project celebrates the artist's illustrious career and the trials and tribulations of getting to where he is now.
Part of that journey has notoriously been his public beef with fellow Afrobeats star, Davido.
So what has the African Giant said about Davido in his latest drop, ‘No Sign of Weakness’? Here are all the details.
What did Burna Boy say about Davido in ‘No Sign of Weakness’?
Burna Boy is back and seems to have some things to get off his chest in his latest drop.
In the Afrobeats star’s first album since 2023, fans think he has reignited his age-old beef with Davido.
In verse three of track ‘No Sign of Weakness’, he says:
“Hothead can't get cold feet
So my advice is that it's just best you don't speak
The likkle frog better not jump up and leap
The .44 gon’ make am slumber and sleep
See, the perimeter to the governor them reach”
Fans believe this verse is about Davido, because he has long been referred to as a ‘frog’ for his hoarse-like voice, and frog chain, which became a popular meme following artist Wizkid also labelling the ‘Fall’ singer the animal.
So, fans are speculating that Burna is telling him to ‘keep quiet’.
The African Giant has had a very public beef with the ‘With You’ singer, throwing indirect tweets and lyrics back and forth as long ago as 2019.
They did once collaborate on their track ‘Trumpet’ all the way back in 2011, but that relationship has since broken down.
One fan commented on the lyrics, and said: “You guys will beef till you guys enter grave.”
Another said: “He cooked everyone.”
