Who is Tolami Benson?
Tolami Benson is a rather mysterious character for someone in the public eye, but, other than her iconic fashion statements in the football stands, there is a lot more to her than meets the eye.
She is a PR and media graduate from the University of Birmingham.
Her birthday is the 2nd December, and she is 24 years old
.She is of Nigerian heritage, like Saka, who is half Angolan and half Nigerian.
It is not known what she does for work, but as a content creator she certainly delivers in showing her 200k Instagram followers the luxuries of her lives, sharing her travels all over the world.
When did Bukayo Saka & Tolami Benson start dating?
Although never confirmed by the private couple, it is suspected they first started dating way back in 2020, showing how serious their relationship is.
In keeping with their privacy…this couple don’t even follow each other on Instagram! For what reason, who knows? But all we can say is they are for sure missing out on each other’s content.
Tolami first shared to her Instagram an image with a mystery man in July 2020, with both of their heads cut off in the picture.
Then, slowly soft-launching, the influencer shared images posted up in an Arsenal shirt, obviously showing her support for her man’s team.
Then came the masked-up image, shared shortly after, featuring her cosying up to a man in a lift with his face covered by a mask.
She captioned the image: “Ft some guy I met in the lift.”
However, this is in keeping with the content creator's preference, her once posting a meme with the caption, “private relationships with a splash of random flexing >>>”, which is definitely what Tolami favours, her Instagram decked out in balloons, flowers and gifts from her footballer man.
The couple’s most iconic moment was when they first hard-launched publicly at the 2024 Euros.
One of the most reported-on events of the tournament wasn’t just the success of Saka’s England squad, but rather his stylish girlfriend who sat in the stands.
Photographed in an iconic personalised motor jacket featuring Saka’s number, 87, this diva caught the attention of everybody.
With a facecard that didn’t decline, she had outlets like Vogue publishing articles about this fashion icon, and that is when the world was first properly introduced to the ‘Wag’.
They are also doggy parents to their little puppy, which Tolami alluded was gifted to her by her boyfriend on Valentine's Day, sharing on Instagram with the caption, “Just us three.”
The pair don’t often step out in public, but most recently, the couple were spotted at a friend’s wedding, the couple making a cute pair.
So it’s clear that England’s most loved ‘Star boy’ is loved-up and seems to be locked in with his girlfriend Tolami.
