ASAP Rocky has spoken in a new interview with Jason Lee, all about his beef with Drake, Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Hassan Jameel, and revealed that the singer is finally back in the studio. So is there a new Rihanna album on the way? Here are all the details.

A$AP Rocky has revealed that Rihanna is finally in the studio making new music, in an interview where he also spoke more about his beef with Drake, and surprisingly spoke about Riri’s ex-boyfriend Hassan Jameel.

The Bajan singer is one of the most famous names in the industry, despite not having released a solo project in over a decade.

Her iconic ‘Anti’ album, which features hit songs ‘Work’ and ‘Needed Me’, celebrated its 10-year anniversary in January, and the anticipation for new music has never been higher.

Rihanna has been busy building her and A$AP’s family, having her three kids, RZA, Riot and Rocki, almost back-to-back over the course of the last 4 years.

While the 38-year-old has headlined the infamous Super Bowl halftime show, starred in Oceans 8, and released two singles for the films Smurfs and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, there has still not been any official solo releases.

But now, it seems that we could be closer than ever to her ninth studio album, after Rocky has confirmed the fans' hopes that new music is on the way.

He said: “She is in the studio right now, yeah, I said it, sorry babe. She cooking, bro, no funny shit, yeah, damn, I’m going to get in trouble for this.”

This comes after Riri was spotted in the studio back in February, but it has been radio silence since.

But with this confirmation from her partner, it seems R9 could be looming, and closer than ever!

While some fans are over the moon with the news, others are still doubtful and don’t want to get their hopes up.
