The singer had to attend an important day with his family.
Usher has revealed the real reason he was forced to pull out of Ariana Grande’s ‘One Love Manchester’ concert.
The R&B singer had been promoted as part of the line-up for the benefit event but didn’t show up, sparking confusion among some fans.
However Usher has now revealed that he was forced to cancel his performance after needed to take his son to summer camp.
So happy to see that last night's concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails. I would have loved to be there but It was my son's first day at Camp Kudzu, one of the few summer camps for kids living with diabetes. This was an important day for him and for myself as a proud father. Stay strong UK.

Usher also shared a heartfelt message to the city of Manchester, urging everyone to love each other and stay strong during difficult times.
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande’s benefit concert for Manchester took place at Emirates Old Trafford on 4th June and included performances from Black Eyed Peas, Pharrell, Justin Bieber, Liam Gallagher and more.
The show raised over £2m for the families of victims of the recent terror attack in Manchester.
