The pair will reportedly 'remain friends'.
The Weeknd and Bella Hadid have split up after an 18-month romance, reports claim.
A source confirmed to People that the couple parted ways due to work commitments.
"Their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album," the source explains.
"They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends."
Neither party has commented on the break-up yet, leaving fans to speculate on the real reason.
The couple sparked rumours of a relationship back in April 2015 when Bella, 20, posed for the artwork for Abel's album 'Beauty Behind The Madness'.
The pair recently travelled to Tokyo together as the 25-year-old Canadian singer continued to promote his upcoming studio album 'Starboy'.
However, if there was any bad blood between the pair, they may want to resolve it pretty soon - both are scheduled to appear at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which airs on 5th December 2016.
The Weeknd will be hitting the stage to perform on the night, along with fellow musicians Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.
Bella will also appear in the show, strutting her stuff down the catwalk in her debut for the infamous lingerie company.
Currently, Abel is likely to be preparing for the impending release of 'Starboy', which drops Friday 25th November.
The singer also recently revealed the dates for his 2017 'Starboy: Legend Of The Fall' World Tour, which features Bryson Tiller and Lil Uzi Vert as support acts.
