The band have unleashed a Hip Hop remix.
Rudimental have added a Hip Hop twist to their latest single ‘Lay It All On Me’ featuring Ed Sheeran.
The collective have released a big VIP remix alongside Big Sean and Vic Mensa, over a more upbeat club-ready track.
“I ride for you, when it gets too deep, I’ll die for you/ When your momma got diagnosed, I swear I almost cried for you/ I wish I could turn winter into July for you,” raps Sean.
While Mensa adds a personal touch of his own: “Got to treat her like Aretha, R-E-S-P-E-C-T,” he raps.
Listen below:
“We wanted to collaborate on something and he really felt ‘Lay It All On Me’ so we changed the beat a bit so it suited a rapper,” Rudimental told FADER.
“Vic Mensa is one of our favorite up and coming rappers so we got really excited when he agreed to jump on for a verse and felt like a good fit with Big Sean.”
