Ri's hotly-anticipated makeup collection drops this Friday.
Rihanna has revealed why it was so important for her to include 40 shades of foundation in her new Fenty Beauty cosmetics line.
The singer has been universally praised for the inclusivity of her upcoming makeup collection, which launches this Friday (8th September).
As well as highlighters and lip glosses, the range features a brand new foundation in an extensive range of colours - news which was confirmed by Ri herself.
During an direct message with a fan, Bad Gal expressed her aim to "represent for my girls" who "come in all shades".
Last week, Rihanna debuted the teaser video for Fenty Beauty across her social media channels, sending the Internet into an unadulterated frenzy.
The visual features a hugely diverse range of models, including Halima Aden, the stunning Somali-American who has stormed the runways as one of the industry's first hijab-wearing models.
Fenty Beauty, which hails itself as "the new generation of beauty," will be available globally at retailers Sephora and Harvey Nichols.
Fans of the singer are eagerly awaiting the release, taking to Twitter to express their excitement and praise the 'Wild Thoughts' songstress for catering to such a wide range of skin tones.
