Sam Smith Is Facing Major Backlash Online After Wearing This R. Kelly T-Shirt
17 October 2017, 16:07

People are not happy.
Sam Smith has been criticised for wearing a T-Shirt with R. Kelly featured on the front.
The British singer stepped out at the SNL afterparty this week wearing a black T-Shirt with the 'Ignition' star's face emblazoned on it, his name written underneath.
Social media users have brandished the move insensitive, especially in light of Hollywood's recent sexual assault scandal with producer Harvey Weinstein.
Earlier this year, R. Kelly was notably accused of holding multiple women against their will in a sexual cult in Chicago, which he has denied.
Most recently, an alleged victim of R. Kelly's abuse recalled stories of being "trained" to please him sexually by him and another woman.
The singer was also involved and acquitted in a child pornography case back in 2008.
"I guess he doesn't know the history of R Kelly? Or his people did and knew it would draw attention," suggested one user.
Oh and Sam Smith for wearing an R Kelly tshirt. In the bin you go
