Following Nicki Minaj’s publicised break-up with Meek Mill last week, more details have emerged about their split.
Insiders close to the pair claim that the Hip Hop couple ended their relationship after an explosive argument on holiday in Turks And Caicos, where they were recently celebrating Minaj’s 34th birthday.
According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj was upset that Meek was spending too much time with his friends and not “paying attention to her”.
After she confronted him on the issue, the Dreamchasers rapper reportedly became angry and left the island without her, leading to Minaj ending the relationship.
There were a number of rumours on social media suggesting that Meek had cheated on the ‘Pinkprint’ rapper with a woman from Philadelphia. However these reports have been dismissed.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is currently working on new music for her upcoming album.
She was recently spotted hanging out with Lil Wayne during an interview with NFL network.

While discussing his plans for 2017, Nicki Minaj appeared in the back of the shot.
The rapper is planning to release the follow-up to 2014's 'The Pinkprint' this year.
