"Nicki is awfully quiet about this H&M situation."
Nicki Minaj has fans speculating as to whether she will cut ties with H&M following the company's recent racist backlash.
Many celebrities flocked online this week to denounce the brand again after they released photos of a young black model in a hoodie that read "coolest monkey in the jungle".
Two of H&M's now-previous collaborators, The Weeknd and G-Eazy, have publicly stated that they will no longer be working with the company.
However, users on social media have picked up on the fact that Nicki, who released a holiday collection with the clothing brand at the end of last year, is yet to comment on the controversy.
The 'No Frauds' rapper has reportedly deleted her sponsored Instagram posts promoting her collection with H&M, but fans are urging her to end her partnership with the company altogether.

In contrast, many fans were quick to point out that Minaj has been relatively silent across social media for weeks, arguing that the rapper is busy while she finishes her upcoming album.
People keep saying nicki Minaj hasn’t said nothing about H&M. She hasn’t even said happy new year this year. Stfu she in the zone and took a break from social media. The Culture want support but been dragging her all year She will speak when she wants.

H&M has since apologised for the image and removed the hoodie from its stores after posting a message reading: “We’re deeply sorry that the picture was taken, and we also regret the actual print."
The mother of the child model featured in the original campaign has claimed that she doesn't believe the advert was racist.
Taking to social media, Terry Mango said people should “stop crying wolf all the time” and claimed that everyone should “get over it”.
