The rapper is currently in prison for violating his probation.
Meek is currently in prison for violating his probation on two accounts. The rapper was sentenced to two to four years by judge Genece Brinkley, who Minaj has gone on to defend.
During a recent interview, the 'Chun-Li' rapper discussed Brinkley - albeit without naming her - and admitted that "the judge in question did everything I asked of her."
"So I can’t badmouth her because I met her personally," Nicki continued, "I know what she said to us, he knows that and I know that. But I wouldn't wish jail on anybody."
"What made me shed tears the other day was seeing his mother cry. She, during the relationship, was always so sweet to me," she added.
In November last year, Brinkley hit headlines after it was claimed that she allegedly requested for Meek Mill to release a remake of Boyz II Men’s ‘On Bended Knee’ with a shout out to her included.
Meek’s lawyer claimed that Nicki, who was dating Meek at the time, was also present during the situation and witnessed the request.
However, the rapstress didn't elaborate extensively as she admitted she plans to "save those things for my album," before revealing that she's also shooting a documentary.
"I was behind the scenes, wishing it wouldn’t happen," she explained. "I said, 'Don't do that!' I think, as artists, we all look back on things that we shouldn’t have done."
"And that was one of those things he shouldn’t have done," she continued, "But he did it, and it is what it is. What I do know is that Meek and Drake have moved on from that."
Meanwhile, Nicki dropped two brand new singles - 'Chun-Li' and 'Barbie Tingz' - ahead of her rumoured forthcoming album.
