'Side To Side' rapper's words were misinterpreted.
UPDATE
Nicki Minaj has hit back at claims that she 'slammed' Kanye West for marrying 'Gold Digger' Kim Kardashian.
The rapper tweeted in response to the various reports circulating the internet, insisting that she believed West was "speaking the truth" regarding her comments in her Marie Claire interview.
Nicki was quoted in the interview saying "It wasn't funny when Kanye said [in 'Gold Digger'], 'When he get on, he'll leave your ass for a white girl' - and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now."
However, she soon took to social media to explain what she meant by the comments.

Nicki Minaj has called out Kanye West for marrying Kim Kardashian, claiming West has gone back on the lyrics from his 2005 hit ‘Gold Digger’.
Minaj accused the rapper of promoting racial double standards, after quoting a lyric from his iconic song.
The premise of the lyric is to shame black men who leave their current partners for ‘white girls’ after they get rich - something Nicki believes Yeezy has done himself.
“It wasn’t funny when Kanye said [in Gold Digger], ‘When he get on, he’ll leave your ass for a white girl’, and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now. It wasn’t funny when he said it; it was the f***ing truth.” she told Marie Claire.
The 33-year-old female rapper voiced her concerns for women of colour when she brought the issue to light.
“I’m so tired of black women feeling that when our men get rich, they’re going to leave them for a woman of a different race,” she said.
Nicki also spoke out about racial double standards within social media, suggesting that it is more socially acceptable for a white woman to post nude or provocative photos online than women of colour.
In related news, Nicki took to the stage at the Tidal X benefit concert this weekend in a racy lace catsuit.
There was, of course, plenty of twerking as the rapper performed a variety of hits, both solo and alongside show host Beyonce.
Queen B managed to perform throughout the entire show, despite her ear bleeding.
The ‘Formation’ singer's hair got caught on her earring and ripped open her earlobe - ever the professional, Bey carried on as if nothing had happened.
