Miguel broke down in tears on stage at Wireless Festival over police brutality in the US.
The ‘Adorn’ singer, who performed on Friday night at the festival, was overcome with emotion when discussing the police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.
“I couldn’t sleep last night,” he said wiping tears from his eyes.
Miguel is the latest artist to express their pain and anger at the current level of police brutality in the US.
Drake recently penned an emotional letter, while Beyonce stopped her Formation Tour in Glasgow to dedicate a minute of silence to those dead at the hands of police.
Jay Z also released a powerful song called ‘Spirituality’, addressing similar themes.
