Kim Kardashian has confirmed that North West is getting a baby brother.

Kim Kardashian confirmed this morning that she and Kanye West are expecting a boy in a loving Father's Day message on twitter: 

Now that the sex of baby is known speculation about its name can start. If you're thinking Kardashian and West might continue the compass theme along the lines of the name of their first child, North West, you'll be disappointed, as Kim has already ruled out South West as a name. 

She told American radio network NPR “I don’t like South West though because that’s like, you know, North will always be better and be more... She has a better direction."

It's only been weeks since Kim Kardashian unveiled she is pregnant with her and Kanye West's second child together, but everyone is already wondering whether North West's younger sibling will be a girl or a boy.

Now, news has dropped that Kanye and Kim are expecting a baby boy, US Weekly reports.

"Kanye loves Nori more than anything, but to make his world complete he wanted a little boy, an heir," a source "close to West" told the magazine. 

Last week the couple were spotted out shopping in New York, where Kanye was reportedly looking at boys clothes - so no sharing for little Nori. 

Kim has neither confirmed nor denied that the baby is a boy, recently taking to Twitter to tell fans that she has not confirmed the sex of the child to anyone.

On Monday Kim Kardashian put on a massive surprise for Yeezy's 38th birthday party, hiring out the entire Staples Centre for him to play ball in.
