Kanye West Made An Awkward Joke About Kim Kardashian In His BET Honours Speech

In true Kanye fashion.
Kanye West was honoured with the 'Visionary Award' at the BET Honors' on the weekend and took to the stage to make a eight-minute long speech in true Yeezy style.
After being introduced by Damon Dash, 'Ye went on to talk about creativity, hip-hop and his wife, Kim Kardashian.
The 'Bound 2' rapper joked to the audience about his wife's dating history.

"They say white girls go out and get a rich black dude. But my wife dated broke black dudes. So it's not about the money" he said to laughs.
Audience members at the event in Washington were live tweeting quotes from Kanye's speech, in which he reportedly gave tips on how to be creative.

The weekend saw Kanye West unveil another collaboration with Paul McCartney, and this time Rihanna was involved too. The track, called 'FourFiveSeconds,' features a stripped back, acoustic sound and is thought to be the first single from Rihanna's new album.
