Akon Blames ‘Kardashian Curse’ For Kanye West Breakdown, Warns Tyga

The singer has drawn comparisons with African sayings.

Akon claims that a ‘Kardashian curse’ might be to blame for Kanye West’s mental breakdown. 

The rapper was recently taken to UCLA Medical Centre for psychiatric evaluation following reported “erratic behaviour”.

However Akon believes that there may be something deeper behind Kanye’s mental illness – a Kardashian curse.

“I actually thought about that, because at first it was a big joke to everybody, he told TMZ. 

“But in Africa there have always been sayings that sometimes you can’t deny what you see, but often times the eye may deceive you too,” he continued.

“But in this case it’s been not what you see, it’s experiences.

"It’s hard to comment on something like that because as much as the evidence may show you that that’s possible, you don’t wanna discredit [the Kardashians] as it may just be bad luck.”

However the 43-year-old singer was so intrigued by the situation, he said he would look into it himself. 

“I just wanna investigate this further just for fun, it is something to think about though. I wouldn’t deny it but I wouldn’t promote it either.

“When you think about it, the evidence all points to it.” 

Since Kanye West was admitted to hospital, some fans have drawn similarities with other men associated with the Kardashian family.

Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick turned to drugs and alcohol in the past, while Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband Lamar Odom went from basketball player to drug addict. 

Akon ended by sending a warning to Tyga. “If something mental happens with Tyga then we can say it’s safe to say as that’s three in a row,” he said. 

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Kanye West will spend Thanksgiving in hospital.
