What a moment!
JAY-Z surprised fans by remixing Drake and Giggs underground hit ‘KMT’ live on stage in Toronto.
The legendary rapper, who is currently on his North American ‘4:44’ tour, shocked the crowd when the ‘More Life’ song began and he rapped the last verse of his track ‘Big Pimpin’.
“On a canopy my stamina be enough for Pamela Anderson Lee, he rapped. “MTV jam of the week, Made my money quick then back to the streets...”
JAY-Z then played the final part of Giggs’ verse at the Air Canada Centre, before waiting for the drop and partying with the crowd.
“I like how you was doing it!” he yelled.
JAY-Z has shown his respect for UK Hip-Hop in the past and was rumoured to have recorded an unreleased remix of Lethal Bizzle's Grime track 'Pow' in 2004, and has previously claimed his favourite UK rapper is Kano.
Drake and JAY-Z have a very mixed history together, with the pair seemingly involved in a subliminal back-and-forth over recent years.
During an interview in 2016, Drake admitted that he didn’t expect JAY-Z to be on his song ‘Pop Style’, while the New York rapper appeared to diss Drake on DJ Khaled’s 2017 track ‘Shining’.
Meanwhile, Giggs recently released his new mixtape Wamp 2 Dem, which features 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Dave and more.
