JAY-Z Opens Up About Cheating On Beyonce In Rare New Interview

JAY-Z has broken down his marital issues on camera.
The New York rapper, who was honoured with a Grammy Icon award this weekend, broke down the truth behind his highly-publicised infidelity with Beyonce.
"For us, we chose to fight for our love,” he told Van Jones. “For our family. To give our kids a different outcome. To break that cycle for black men and women.”
He also further broke down his relationship with Beyonce, adding: “We were never a celebrity couple - we were a couple that happened to be celebrities. We are real people.”
Beyonce famously released her hugely successful ‘Lemonade’, which JAY-Z admitted was hard to listen to.
“You have to acknowledge the pain,” he said. “You have to let that person have their say. You have to get on the floor and get on the mattress. And you have to really work through it and be honest.”
“It’s very difficult to hear. It’s difficult to say and it’s difficult to listen to that type of pain.”

JAY-Z first officially admitted his affair in a 2017 interview with the New York Times, following the release of ‘Lemonade’ and his own album ‘4:44’.
Beyonce and JAY-Z were sat on the front row of this year’s Grammys and were hilariously spotted being told what to do by their 6-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
