J. Cole has surprised fans with a brand new song called ‘High For Hours’.

Following the release of his critically-acclaimed fourth album '4 Your Eyez Only', the Fayetteville rapper is back with another new song.

The surprise new track, which doesn't feature on his latest LP, sees Cole discuss police brutality, meeting with President Obama and ongoing issues with society.

"What good is taking over, when we know what you gon' do, the only real revolution happens right inside of you," he raps.

During his recent documentary called 'Eyez', Cole admitted that now he has reached the peak of his career, he wants to use his platform to speak his truths.

"While I'm here, let me use this opportunity to say the realist sh*t I've ever said."

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that J. Cole's new album '4 Your Eyez Only', featuring singles 'False Prophets' and 'Deja Vu', has already reached Gold status, less than two months after it's release.

His third studio album 2014 Forest Hills Drive famously went double Platinum with no features.
