Future Calls Ciara's $15m Lawsuit "Absurd"

The rapper has hit back at her claims.

Future has hit back at his ex-fiancee Ciara after it was announced that she would be suing the rapper for $15m.

Reports claimed that Ciara, who is also the mother of Future’s child, was suing him over alleged slander in his interviews, which she claimed questioned her mothering skills.

However Future has now responded, calling her lawsuit “absurd” according to TMZ and claims he could even file his own suit over her 2015 song ‘I Bet’ – believed to be about Future cheating. 

She sings: “I mean I would stay if you could tell the truth. But you can't, no matter how much time I ask."

Future and Ciara called time on their engagement in August 2014 and it hasn’t been the smoothest break-up – with the couple currently engaged in a custody battle over their son baby Future.

Ciara is also now in a relationship with NFL player Russell Wilson.
