Drake has announced news that he is putting together a new mixtape that will follow-up his latest album ‘Views’.

The ‘One Dance’ rapper, who is currently on his ‘Summer Sixteen’ US tour alongside Future, revealed the news to his fans in Missouri.

“I want you to protect yourselves and each other so when I go and work on this new mixtape and come back to Kansas City and I drop that sh*t, I wanna see everybody in this mother*cka, boy!” he said before leaving the stage.

There is currently no release date on the new mixtape.

Drizzy is also rumoured to be working on a new EP alongside recently freed rapper Gucci Mane.

Drake’s previous mixtape ‘If You’re Reading This Its Too Late’ sparked controversy after it was revealed he used a number of ghostwriters to complete the project.

Meanwhile, Drake’s ‘Summer Sixteen’ tour has been eventful so far, with the rapper calling out Toronto rival Tory Lanez and sending shots at Joe Budden, who continues to release Drake diss tracks.
