Stripper opens up about relationship with Drake

Maliah Michel speaks out after the ‘Signs’ rapper recently attempted to stop her from stripping.

Drake has come under fire from a popular stripper after he attempted to retire her stripper jersey.

During his Houston Appreciation Weekend, the rapper held a special "jersey retirement" ceremony for three popular strippers: Lira 'Galore' Mercer, Miracle Watts, and Maliah Michel.

While many onlookers saw the gesture as a joke, it appears one of the women involved did not.

Maliah Michel took to Instagram to dispel the rumours that she was retiring from the game.

"Contrary to 'social media news' no man can retire me. I'm shaking this azz into a wheel chair. Maliah will retire Maliah," she writes.

The exotic dancer continued to unleash a series of tweets revealing her past experiences with Drake, elaborating on his previous attempts to stop her from stripping.

Michel claimed the rapper was "always putting her down" for her career choice, admitting: "I let his opinion of me mold my opinion of myself."

"My only regret is ever trying to explain how much I love dancing." she continues, "And thinking so highly of him."

Michel went on to describe the way in which she defended her decision to carry on dancing, but to no avail.

"No matter how light I tried to make things. Just always mean and hurtful." she writes, adding: "But whatever I’m done."

While Drizzy's name is never directly mentioned, many assume the claims are aimed at the OVO Sound star as the pair have long been rumoured to be ex-lovers.

Michel even has a shout out on Drizzy's 2010 track, 'Miss Me,' featuring Lil Wayne.

Drake is yet to respond to the comments.

Meanwhile, the rapper recently sent fans into frenzy after appearing to hint at a sequel to his 2011 album 'Take Care'.
