Drake Responds To Shock Lil Wayne Retirement Rumours

The end of Young Money?
Lil Wayne sparked rumours that he is about to retire from rap music after posting some very cryptic messages on social media.
The legendary rapper, who has been responsible for the careers of Drake, Nicki Minaj and more, appeared to express his desire to quit music over the weekend.
“I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I'm dun,” he said on Twitter.
“Ain't lookin for sympathy, just serenity.”

Its not currently clear what has sparked Lil Wayne’s sudden outburst. However the rapper has been caught up in a long-running $51m legal battle with his label Cash Money.
Weezy has also suffered a number of seizures in recent months.
Drake, who is currently signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money label, has responded to the situation on Instagram.
“We are fighting until you get yours,” he said. “Freedom to drop music and peace of mind.”
A number of other musicians have also showed their support for Lil Wayne following his announcement, including Missy Elliott, Chance The Rapper, Lupe Fiasco and more.
