Drizzy brought Nicki Minaj on stage at Coachella and he had a message for her.
Drake brought out his good friend and Cash Money label-mate Nicki Minaj during his headlining set at Coachella on Sunday night, announcing to the audience that she is "The love of [his] life."
Those hoping for a surprise collaborative performance were out of luck. The 'Anaconda' rapper didn't perform or even speak during her short appearance on stage during Drizzy's 'Truffle Butter.'
But Drake did stop for a short speech, seemingly congratulating Nicki on her engagement to Meek Mill.
"The love of my life, I love this girl right here, we're family forever," Drake said as Nicki walked on the stage. "Congratulations and all that, I just want to give you a hug."
Fans at the festival tweeted their disappointment at Drake not performing with Nicki, or any surprise guest, after he brought out Madonna for his first performance the previous weekend.
