We detail the on-off relationship of 'Take Care' collaborators Rihanna and Drake, aka Hip Hop's Ross and Rachel.
Drake and Rihanna have seemingly been on and off again more times than 'Friends' Ross and Rachel. They've been friends, collaborators, enemies and boyfriend and girlfriend. So what's the full story? We break it down for you... Credit: Getty
In May 2009 Rihanna and Drake allegedly hook-up at Lucky Strike bowling alley in New York. This is reportedly the first time the two get together, Drake later raps about the evening on his track 'Fireworks'.
Rih plays down rumours the two are seeing each other. But did anyone believe her?
He answers the 'fill-in-the-blanks' question during an interview with XXL; “People thought I was dating Rihanna and that was..." with "semi-true".
On 'Thank Me Later' album track 'Fireworks', Drizzy refers to their Lucky Strike hook-up: "I can tell it wasn't love, I just thought you'd f**k with me / Who coulda predicted Lucky Strike would have you stuck with me / Damn, I kept my wits about me, luckily / What happened between us that night / It always seems to trouble me."
Reports suggest that they were pretty close on set as well. Is this just on-screen chemistry? Or is there more going on behind-the-scenes?
He rapped: “One of my baddest women ever, I call her Rihanna / But that’s cause her name is Rihanna.” It sounds like Drake has seriously fallen for Rih Rih. Does she feel the same?

The video is even more steamier than their last music video appearance together.
Some have claimed these lines refer to Rih: “Chances are if she was acting up then I f***ed her once and never f***ed again/ She could have a Grammy, I still treat her ass like a nominee/ Just need to know what that pussy like so one time is fine with me.” Ouch - if this really is about Rih, what caused the relationship to go so sour? Well...
The beef between the two, reportedly over Brown seeing Rihanna again, escalates, with a fight breaking out in a nightclub both were attending. Breezy posts a photo on Instagram of an injury following the incident. So, that explains why Drake penned such nasty lyrics.

“At one point in life, the woman he [Chris Brown] loves fell into my lap,” Drake said of why Chris Brown kicked off that night.
She seemed more interested by her nails.
"Yeah, great girl, we had our moment. Always support and have love for her," he tells Ellen. So maybe the two are civil at this point?

Verses appear to be about Rih: “Remember one night I went to Erykah Badu house, she made tea for me / We talked about love and what life could really be for me / She said, “when that sh*t is real, you just know” / And I was thinkin’ ’bout you, you already know'".
Uh oh, this doesn't look good. During Drake's performance of “Days of East” at his OVO festival in Toronto, images of RiRi looking like the devil, accompanied by three flaming sixes, appear on screens.
