'Welcome To Death Row' would focus on the years following NWA's rise.

NWA biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton’ has been a huge success at the box office and a potential follow-up could now be in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, APA is shopping around the re-issued 2001 documentary ‘Welcome To Death Row’ as a possible sequel, even though the project doesn’t currently have any necessary music rights.

APA has reportedly put together a package that includes the film and a book of the same name.

The ‘Welcome To Death Row’ documentary focuses on the years following the rise of NWA and sees the likes Tupac and Snoop Dogg experience huge success.

The director and writer of the doc S Leigh Savidge was also heavily involved in the story development for ‘Straight Outta Compton’.
