Eminem wrote in his 2008 biography 'The Way I Am' that Dre urged him to start screaming in the booth: "Dre also showed me how to do things with my voice that I had no idea I could do. He had me screaming in the studio! I remember doing the chorus for 'Role Model,' shouting, "Don't you want to grow up to be just like me?" My throat was hurting. Dre would be, "Again. Do it again."
