15 Things You Didn't Know About 'Rather Be' Band Clean Bandit
The Cambridge Uni graduates are getting nationwide attention ahead of the release of their big track 'Rather Be'. Find out everything you need to know about the up and coming quartet.

1. Clean Bandit formed in 2009.
The band is comprised of (from left to right) Grace Chatto (Strings), Luke Patterson (drums), Milan Neil Amin-Smith (strings) and Jack Patterson (bass, sax, decks).

2. Their sounds is unique.
All of their musical talents combined create a kind of electro-classical-garage sound that's unusual, but works.

3. The band formed whilst studying at Cambridge Uni.

4. Luke and Jack are brothers.
Although Jack, Grace and Milan met at Cambridge uni, Luke didn't come along until a little later when his brother Jack introduced him to the band.

5. Their first single 'A&E' was released in December 2012
It peaked at number 100 on the UK singles chart.

7. They featured on Gorgon City's 'Intentions'
North London-based duo Gorgon City (a.k.a. Foamo and RackNRuin) collaborated with their Black Butter label mates Clean Bandit and singer Nikki B on ‘Intentions’. The garage-house track is a big tune.

8. The group performed at Glastonbury last year.

9. Clean Bandit make their own music videos
The band also have a production company and make their own videos, filming and editing the whole thing themselves.

12. Clean Bandit's new single is called 'Rather Be'
The track, featuring vocals from Jess Glynne, will be the third single off their studio album. It's an upbeat dance track that's getting attention nationwide.

13. The video for it has already had over 1.1 million views.
It was only put on YouTube one month ago but the track - and its creative video - have blown up.
