Chris Brown Responds To Ongoing Accusations That He Is ‘On Drugs’

The rapper was called out for alleged substance abuse after cancelling an interview this week.

Chris Brown has addressed ongoing rumours which claim he is using drugs.

After the singer cancelled an interview with 'The Breakfast Club' earlier this week, show host Charlamagne The God called him out for "looking like he's on drugs in interviews".

Breezy previously stated that he skipped the appearance due to a sore throat he obtained after a studio session, and needed to rest in preparation for a show that night.

During a recent interview with Nessa On Air, the 'Privacy' singer rubbished Charlamagne's claims and stated that he doesn't use any hard drugs.

"Me doing interviews, you might think I move alot. It's just cuz I'm nervous in this damn interview," said Brown.

"[People say] 'Oh, he's on drugs.' No, I'm not!"

The singer later admitted to recreational marijuana usage whilst aiming to "balance out" his life.

"I don't live for the next person's gossip," he added, "And I don't entertain it cuz it really don't matter. Get on stage with me, Ima fire that a** up."

The interview comes shortly after Breezy shut down a host during his appearance on Hot 97 this week when she asked him about Rihanna's involvement in his documentary.

Meanwhile, Brown is currently promoting his upcoming double-album 'Heartbreak On A Full Moon'.

The star-studded 45-track record - which has reportedly been pushed back to a November release date - features appearances from Jhené Aiko, Future, Young Thug and more.
