The 'Bodak Yellow' rapstress replied to a user on Instagram who was bashing her songwriting skills, accusing her of needing assistance on some of her biggest tracks.

"Imagine needing help on a song like money bag, bodak yellow, & every other verse in any song... & getting called nothing above an entertainer. LMAO a joke," she wrote, adding, "stick to the movies luv."

In retaliation, Cardi wrote back, "Stick to your diet." The mother-of-one was soon faced with criticism and accused of fat-shaming the young woman.

"She suppose to be an idol for girls not fat shaming young girls about their body and looks," wrote one user, while other added, "Just don’t talk about other’s people bodies. It is so hard to be fat and confident."

However, Cardi jumped back on the socials to defend herself against the backlash, sharing screenshots of the negative messages the aforementioned troll had privately messaged her.

"So she can continuously leave hate comments on my page and on dm but asoon as I tell her to stick to her diet which she claim she was on I’m fatphobic? Wtf is a fatphobic? LMAO! Lucky I ain’t said worst .Matter fact eat a d*ck!" she wrote.

She added that people on the Internet "make her sick", before adding, "You know what’s worse then not giving a f*ck? Not giving 2 f*cks."

Last month, the 26-year-old took to Instagram to clap back at haters who "talk sh*t" about people getting plastic surgery, urging people stop judging women who go under the knife.
