The 'Bodak Yellow' rapstress has allegedly been cooking up a song with Meek Mill - the ex-boyfriend of her rap nemesis, Nicki Minaj.
The 'I Like It' chart-topper sent the rumour mill spinning after being spotted with Meek last week at Billboard's 2018 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players Event, where Meek was being given the Impact Award.
According to TMZ, Cardi hit the studio with Meek - who dated Minaj for two years before their split in early 2017 - months before her highly-publicised fight with the 'Barbie Dreams' rapper last month.
The duo reportedly "cranked out hooks and verses" on their forthcoming tack, which is yet to materialise. There's also mention of an unconfirmed feature.
It's worth nothing that both Cardi and Meek are signed to Atlantic Records, so a collaboration between the pair has never been too wild a concept.
Meek is said to be recording a new album, while Cardi has been teasing plans for new music for months now, her latest release being her feature on DJ Snake's single 'Taki Taki'.
Minaj is yet to respond the rumoured collaboration between her foe and her former flame.
