Big Sean & Jhene Aiko Form Supergroup ‘Twenty88’, Tease New Album

The pair have officially joined forces.
Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have formed a surprise new duo called ‘Twenty88’.
The frequent collaborators took to social media to announce the big news and launched Twitter and Instagram accounts using the name @Twenty88.
Both of their own Twitter bios also now read “½ of TWENTY88”.
The rapper and singer have posed for what appears to an album cover, showing both of their faces alongside the caption ‘4/1’.
Its not currently clear whether they plan to release a full project on 1st April or reveal their first single.
They also teased some new visuals, showing the pair in a car and Jhene Aiko wearing an orange wig.
Big Sean recently teased news of a new album on his own Twitter account, announcing that he already had “one project recorded n done… and working on another one too.”
The duo's new name ‘Twenty88’ is likely to have derived from their birthdays – with both artists being born in 1988 and both recently turning 28 years-old.
Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have previously collaborated on songs including ‘Beware’ and ‘I Know’ for their own individual albums.
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Jhene Aiko secretly got married to producer Dot Da Genius.
Her husband ‘announced’ the news via Instagram to celebrate her birthday.
