The album is already America's 24th biggest seller of the year.
Beyonce's new album 'Beyonce' has only been out less than a week, but it is already the 24th biggest-selling album in America in 2013, beating Kanye West's 'Yeezus', which came out in June.
According to Billboard, 'Beyonce' sold 617,000 copies in its first three days on sale, while Kanye's 'Yeezus' to date has only sold 607,000 copies. Justin Timberlake's 'The 20/20 Experience' is the year's biggest seller, shifting 24 million copies since its release at the start of the year.
But even compared to Justin, Beyonce's sales figures are incredible. The singer surprised fans last week when she dropped 'Beyonce' with no prior warning alongside 17 music videos.
After being exclusively released on iTunes, the album is now set for a full release later this month. The lead single from the record is 'Drunk In Love' featuring the star's husband Jay Z.
