Plus see the emotional moment Jay Z and Blue Ivy present her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Beyoncé took over the MTV VMA's last night (24th August) as she took to the stage to perform a medley of hits off her most recent self-titled album in an incredible 16-minute performance.

Watch the performance below:

The 'Drunk In Love' singer worked the stage as she opened with Drake-assisted song 'Mine' and had everyone singing on to hit single 'XO' by the end of the set.

Husband Jay Z, best friend Kelly Rowland and baby Blue Ivy watched on from the audience like...

And the internet pretty much reacted in unison.

And if all of that didn't have you on the edge of your set (in tears), at the end of her performance Jay Z and Blue Ivy met Queen Bey on the stage to present her with the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

On stage, Jay Z dubbed his wife "the greatest living entertainer" and Blue sweetly shouted down the mic "go mummy."

You can watch the MTV Video Music Awards in full from 8pm tonight on MTV UK.
