Alesso talks to Capital XTRA's Coco Cole about his debut album, not having enough studio time and why he can't say no to gigs.

Alesso has revealed that his highly anticipated debut album is not a dance album in its entirety.

The superstar DJ and producer told Coco Cole on The Clubbers Guide that fans waiting for the album should expect "a bit of everything."

"There are songs that aren't really dance records" Alesso said. "It's like just me producing tracks, making melodies and beats and chords that I enjoy."
Although he's got an album on the way, the 23-year-old said that he's not had as much studio time as he wanted on account of doing so many gigs.
"It's so hard to say no to great shows, I have to tell my agent 'I don't even want to see a touring suggestion' otherwise i'll be like 'yeah, well, it's just a weekend'" Alesso told Coco. "I owe it to myself to have some time off so I can have that studio time."
Lock in to Coco Cole on The Clubbers Guide everyday Friday from 4pm.
