22 September: On This Day In Music

Rihanna And Calvin Harris Release 'We Found Love'

In 2011, Rihanna and Calvin Harris welcomed in a new era for both of their careers with the release of their collaboration 'We Found Love'. The track was the first to be taken from Rihanna's album 'Talk That Talk' and cemented her position as one of the biggest music stars in the world at the time.

And for Calvin Harris, it heralded the second push in a career that had seen him stop performing with a band and instead focus on producing and DJ'ing. It was clearly a decision that paid off, as the Scottish star has gone on to become one of the leading figures in EDM.

The accompanying video for 'We Found Love' was filmed in Ireland and caused much uproar with one local farmer when Rihanna chose to dance naked in his field during filming.
