Stormzy, Drake, Craig David and more are nominated in the Global Awards! But who will win?

The Global Awards will celebrate the biggest and best loved stars of music, news & entertainment in the UK and around the world, across a whole host of genres.

The first ever star-studded Global Awards show will take place in front of fans and stars alike on March 1st 2018 at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith and promises to be an extraordinary night with performances and special appearances from some of the world’s greatest artists including Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Kasabian, Andrea Bocelli and Martin Garrix.

There are 16 categories in total at the Global Awards, with each category reflecting the music, programmes and news aired on the stations. 

The 16 categories are:

  1. Best Song (public vote)
  2. Best Group (public vote)
  3. Best Male (public vote)
  4. Best Female (public vote)
  5. Best British Artist or Group (public vote)
  6. Best News Moment, Interview or Debate (public entry to determine shortlist)
  7. Rising Star Award
  8. Best Classical Artist
  9. Most Played Song
  10. Mass Appeal Award
  11. Social Media Superstar
  12. Best RnB, Hip Hop or Grime
  13. Best Pop Dance
  14. Best Indie
  15. Best Pop
  16. The Global Special Award
