The R&B singer addressed the issue after facing backlash online.
SZA has responded after her performance at Coachella was roasted on social media.
After taking to the stage at the Indio festival last weekend, the 'Love Galore' singer received mixed reviews after appearing to struggle with some parts of her set.
In response to her surprise performance alongside Kendrick Lamar for their duet 'All The Stars', as well as a number of her solo hits, people complained that SZA sounded "winded and was "doing too much".
Other said it sounded as if she had been "running a marathon", with others slamming it as "straight garbage".
Can’t lie. SZA sounded horrendous during her Coachella set.— Randall Lamar (@RL_Griffin) 16 April 2018

I still can’t believe how awful SZA performed. Like it was straight garbage.— Brittany (@britshaniece) 16 April 2018
In the wake of the criticism, SZA took to Instagram to defend her performance, citing "technical difficulties" and "losing her voice completely".
She also mentioned that she wasn't able to play arguably her biggest song, 'The Weekend', due to her set being cut short.

Last week kicked my ass . Every technical difficulty that could’ve went wrong did . Every “friend” I asked to come out bailed on me . Lost my voice completely . Didn’t even get a chance to play the weekend . Couldn’t believe it was all happening on my biggest stage to date. I LOVE AND ACCEPT ALL CHALLENGES !! THANK U GOD FOR EVERY GROWTH OPPORTUNITY TO STEP INTO BIGGER DRAWS . I AM BIGGER THAN MY ADVERSITY . DOWN 9 TIMES BUT I GET UP 10!! This Friday is MINE . #COACHELLA2018
The singer will perform during the second week of Coachella on Friday.
