EXCLUSIVE: Cardi B Confirms Release Date For Hotly-Anticipated Debut Album

Cardi B has finally confirmed the release date for her debut album.

Speaking exclusively to Capital XTRA, the 'Bodak Yellow’ starlet spoke on the intense pressure she feels in the run-up to the highly-anticipated drop.

"Some people love me and a lot don’t," she admitted, "So it's like.. it's got to be good.”

Cardi, who recently performed at the MOBO Awards 2017, revealed that there is a specific date by which she has to release the album, before confirming when the record will drop.

"I have deadline and it will be coming out in January,” she confirmed, before adding, "I have three good songs right now."

And that's not all - fans can expect to hear new music from the Grammy nominee before the end of the year.

"I'm gonna drop a single December then I'll drop my album in January," she added.

The rapstress also revealed that the follow-up to her record-smashing debut single will be called 'Cardier Cardi', a solo effort with no features.

"Maybe I'll drop two," she teased.

The Bronx native has been teasing fans with multiple snippets of unreleased songs, sending social media into overdrive as fans anticipate her new material.

Cardi also discussed her relationship with fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj, with whom she recently collaborated with on Migos' new track 'Motorsport'.

Drama surrounded the song following it's release as the pair - who are rumoured to have feuded in the past - were said to be throwing shots at each other in their respective verses.
