The 5 Biggest New Songs Of This Week (3rd May 2014)

Featuring an unheard bonus track off Pharrell's 'G I R L' album, Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea's 'Problem' and something big from Hardwell and Armin Van Buuren - these are the five biggest songs of the week.

1. Pharrell -'Smile'

This week Pharrell pulled a secret weapon out of his sleeve, unveiling a special bonus track off his album 'G I R L', which will feature only on album copies in Japan. Not done spreading his 'Happy' bug, the track is called 'Smile' and it does exactly what it says on the tin. 

2. Armin Van Buuren - 'Ping Pong (Hardwell Remix)'

The full version of that Hardwell remix of Armin Van Buuren's latest piece of work has finally arrived, almost a month after he premiered it at Ultra Music Festival and dropped the preview online. The track turns into big room anthem perfect for the Bank Holiday, catch it on Capital XTRA's Clubbers Guide with Coco Cole on Friday nights.

3. MNEK - 'Every Little Word (Joe Goddard Remix)'

When 2 Bears' Joe Goddard hops on a remix, you know some business is about to go down - and that's exactly what happens on the producer's incredible re-working of MNEK's new single 'Every Little Word'. Joe, whose also a member of Hot Chip, brings an infectious house vibe to MNEK's new track, adding in a series of swirling synths and a Daft Punk -inspired robotic vocal that look set to propel this into just all your favourite DJs' record boxes.

4. Ariana Grande Feat. Iggy Azalea - 'Problem' 

For the first single off her sophomore album Ariana Grande's hooked up with Iggy Azalea who quotes Jay Z in hr verse, rapping: "I got 99 problems but you won't be one". Meanwhile, Big Sean's whispers can be heard on the hook as he repeats: "I got one less problem without you." Check it out above. 

The Dream - 'Black'

This week The Dream penned an emotional new song called 'Black,' which hears him sing about injustices in the world at the moments. Accompanying the song is a lyric video that shows video clips and photos of famous historical leaders and events standing up against prejudices.
