Find out all the details on Common's new album 'Nobody Smiling' and hear his new song 'War'.
After three years out of the game Common has come back with a bang, announcing plans for his tenth studio LP, entitled 'Nobody Smiling' and premiering new single 'War'.
His fellow Chicagoan No I.D will be the executive producer on the album, which will be released later this year to mark the 20th anniversary of the pair's 1994 album 'Resurrection'.
After claiming that 2014 will be "one of [his] greatest times in music" the rapper-turned-actor gave some insight into the album's title.
“We came up with this concept Nobody Smiling [and it] was really a thought that came about because of all the violence that was going on in Chicago, or that is going on in Chicago".
The theme flows through to the first single we're hearing off the album, 'War', which hears the lyricist rap about the violence in his hometown.
