Wretch 32 has opened up about the risk that was involved in putting out his new single '6 Words,' which hears him sing rather than rap.

The London-based rapper told Manny Norte on The Norte Show (21st September) that he had to put out something different because he wasn't surprising himself anymore, and had to make sure he came back with something different.

Listen to highlights from Wretch 32 on The Norte Show below:

"I think everyone was scared but me at one point" Wretch said.

"It's good that they had that worry though, I think it shows everyone around me cares. It's not worry out of 'he's going mad,' it's worry out of 'we just want him to succeed.'"
