Watch Stormzy take over the 2017 Mercury Awards.

Stormzy recreated the artwork for his debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ for an amazing performance at the 2017 Mercury Music Prize.

The Grime star, who was nominated for the prestigious award, was dressed in all black and surrounded by a group of balaclava-clad friends.

Stormzy kicked off the performance with an incredible performance of his album song ‘First Things First’, before the stage transformed into a church with glass windows, for a gospel rendition of ‘Blinded By Your Grace Part I.’

The 24-year-old was eventually beaten to the top prize by UK singer Sampha, who won for his stunning debut album ‘Process’.

J Hus was also among the nominees for the award, which was won by Skepta last year.
