Rihanna Talks About New Fenty Beauty Range At Launch
RiRi spoke on the importance of having 40 shades.
Rihanna's first Fenty Beauty range has arrived!
Rihanna launched her highly-anticipated Fenty Beauty range across over 150 countries this morning.
After two years of development and months of teasing, the ‘Wild Thoughts’ singer dropped the makeup line, which features a ground-breaking 40 different shades.
The new collection will be available for UK customers at luxury department store Harvey Nichols and are also on sale online.
All of the products are relatively affordable, priced between £13 and £26.
At the launch event in New York’s flagship Sephora store, Rihanna opened up about the need for diversity in the collection.
“There’s so many different shades,” she said. “You want people to appreciate the product and not feel like ‘Oh that’s cute but it only looks good on her.”

Rihanna fans have praised the racial diversity in her Fenty Beauty marketing campaign, which featured a range of skin tones on offer.

Meanwhile, Diplo recently revealed that Rihanna is currently working on her new album, which will follow-up 2016’s ‘ANTI’.
