Pharrell Asks Kids About What Makes Them Happy, Receives Adorable Answers

Pharrell Williams Introduces His Children's Book, HAPPY!

Pharrell is writing a book based on his song 'Happy'.

While promoting a new children’s book based on his hit single ‘Happy’, Pharrell Williams has spoken to kids about what it means for them to be happy – and the results are adorable.

One little boy describes his love for telescopes, while other kids were more fascinated by reading, ice cream and other hugely important topics of interest.

In the clip, Pharrell describes the book as “an opportunity to give the message yet another platform.”

The song appears to be very important to Pharrell – a point made clear when he spoke to Oprah about it last year and broke down in tears as she played a montage of fan-made videos from around the world.

He said: “It’s overwhelming, because I love what I do and I just appreciate the fact that people have believed in me for song long, that I could make it to this point.”
